Hello to all!!! I am new to this support group, but figured I would give it a try after my recent encounter with what I think is my narc ex. About 6 months ago he cheated on me, called our wedding off 7 weeks before the date, moved to another state and started dating the girl he cheated on me with. Over the past 6 months we have had some contact with each other. The first couple of weeks of our break up he would try to contact me all the time;text messages, facebook, e-mail. You name it he tried it. It got to the point were I even had to change my number, but stupid me just couldn't let him go. We went a couple of months without any talking until I went to visit friends in the current state he is living in. We began talking again and before I knew it he had broken up with the girl and was talking to me about getting back together. Come to find out he has lost his job and actually got the girl pregnant!!!! I did some snooping and called him out on a few things and now he wont talk to me and the girl is back in his life. This is just a part of the story, but I am wondering why is he trying to play games with me. If he had no intentions of getting back together with me then why did he break up with her in the fist place? All I had to say to him was I am not coming to visit again until you break up with her and he did.... Is he a narc? or just selfish? Please give me some light?!?!?!? |
