What video games do you guys play? I'm a Kingdom Hearts nut, and I also love FFIX, FFVII, FFIV (you can tell I love the Final Fantasy series) and Metal Gear Solid. Metal Gear Solid 2 has cool gameplay, but uh......... the plot is SOOOOO SCREWED! And don't even get me started on naked Raiden! *SHUDDER!*

Oh man, I forgot to mention: POTENTIAL SPOILER WARNING! I mean, we're gonna be talking about games, and we might wind up discussing the storylines and characters and stuff like that...

My fave games are: Soul Blade, Soul Calibur & Soul Calibur 2. I play KOF a little bit, but I suck at it! Tekken's cool to!

I've played all of the Final Fantasy series before FFX. My favorites are VII and IV (Cecil rules!). I love MGS2, too, but I know what you mean about the screwed-up plot. Snake's "speech" at the end was just... er, how should I say it... WAY, WAY BAD.

Soul Blade's story line rocks! Siegfried's story line is so sad, *Sobs* poor guy.

(SPOILER WAAAAAAAARRRNIIIIING, DUDES!)

You mean the way Sieggy turns into that creepy evil monster thingy at the end? You can change that, you know. You can change most of the endings by quickly mashing all the buttons. In Mitsurugi's ending, you can dodge the bullets and move forward with the directional pad, then hit the gunman with a normal strike. In Voldo's ending, pressing Up and Down repeatedly will cause him to break the Soul Edge. In Seung MiNa's ending, pressing Up or Down (not sure which) will allow her to dodge Han Myong's strike. Pretty neat.

(mild MGS2 spoiler ahead!)

I've played a lot of PS1 games, can't count exactly how many... My favorites are the Metal Gear Solid series (which should be quite obvious), Final Fantasy series (haven't played FFX and X-2, though), WildARMs series, Suikoden series, Baldur's Gate 2, KoF series, Tekken Tag Tournament, Samurai Shodown series and Soul Blade/Soul Calibur. MGS2's ending is just... WEIRD!!! I can't believe Snake made that cheesy, boring speech! What was Kojima smoking when he wrote that?!

That THING'S name is Nightmare, I think. And I'm not talking about his ending, I'm talking about the part in the story when Sieggy kills his father. Please, don't make me talk about Sophitia's SB ending (Fanboy delights!) ! As for Hwang and Seung Mina's endings...DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE!?! Raphael & Rocks story lines are very much the same. The Legend of Zelda's cool, Link rocks! But sadly, he's super cheap in SC2.

Hmmm my games? Large list.
Baldurs gate (complete serie)
Planescape: Torment
Icewind Dale
Neverwinter Nights (to a lesser extend)
Wizardry 8 (looking for 1 to 7...)
System Shock serie (CREEPY!)
Thief serie
Deus Ex 1 (2 is inferiour compared to the first, hands down)
Half Life + mods
Unreal serie (got them all...)
Castle Wolfenstein
Medal of honor
Lands of Lore serie (need 1 to complete this set though)
Resident Evil (to a lesser extend, only 1 was really creepy)
Monkey Island series (3 is not yet in my posession, but I intend to change that)
Shadowrun (Genesis, Snes, and Pen and paper)
Dungeons and Dragons (on PC AND the Pen and Paper Edition)
More, but to look for every game I own and enjoy is hard...

Is Lands of Lore any good? I've actually had 1 and 2 for a looooong time now but I never bothered to play them (too distracted with BG and forgot I even had them).

Yes, they are very fun games, a lot to explore. Heck, when I first finished 2, I thought on reading an FAQ. Then I saw secrets and I went like "The hell, never knew that was even there..."
Never gotten that far on 3, as a virus managed to trash my computer and I lost my saves in the clean-up process. Forgot about it afterwards.
But both are really interesting games. A bit... strange... and graphically not appealing maybe, but solid gameplay, lots of areas to explore, and definately fun enough to play again, to discover secrets.
