First I would like to tribute this message to a remarkable individual who met a tragic & sad end, Jame Hutson.
James was one of the first friends that I had made when I moved to TN back in 1993. I remember him as a funny, easy going guy who could befriend anybody. He always found something for me to laugh at.
Upon his passing, I firmly beleive that he reached out to magically touch me once more. I have told nobody of this incident and feel that it is fitting to reveal it now and on a site about James:
James and I lived about 1 mile from each other, him on Rock Spring and I on Pactolus. Everyday we had no school I would go to work for 4am. Every one of those days I would go by his house. The day he was being murdered, I felt a strong urge to go the other way, as if I was in danger if I went my normal route that goes by his house. I truly believe that James reached out to me that day urging me to go the other way. I remember that later in the afternoon, Amy Feagins came into my place of work to tell me the news. The precise time that police say he died was the time that I was leaving home to go to work. If I would have gone by his house, I probably would have seen this guy or possibly became a victim myslef. I am thankful for being pushed out of harms way that day.
