I'm a music major and rarely do anything without music playing in the background. I was wondering whether or not it's okay to work incantations or the such with music playing, or is it a distraction? |

The Goddess and the God, both love music and if you do not find it a distraction, then by all means use it in your rituals. Whenever I have a Balefire, I always sit with it and play my guitar and have dancing etc. |

Of course it's okay to have music during rituals, but it is also a good thing to perform them without music from time to time and thus to practice listening to the sounds of silence..there is a lot to hear for the trained ear. |
