well Lughnasday had come and gone, and as usual I did nothing to celebrate it!Well you see I dont go by thye books, when uit says a date is such and such, I go by nature. nearly 3 weeks ago or famer cut his hay, and so I celebrated it then, the feilds seem to be cut then, so that is the time to me, when mother nature said, this is the harvest! We, proteus and me, celbrated by going for a visit to the forest of dean, and walking in the arboretum there, near to speaches corner.I preared a simple picnic, and we took some plastic goblets, and we sat on my green and red tartan rug, and we toasted the harvest. Then we walked round looking at the trees, and I sung to the spirits of the forest and autumn. I didnt celebrate with anyone else, just the trees in the forest...but others do things differently, its just I wont go by book, or rules, i wait for nature to dictate...we have a bonfire, when we can, near to the sighting of the crescent moon, and full moon, saw her last night, so she is enaring ehr fullness.

I live very near to the Royal Forest of Dean, though I must admit I don't go there very often. Some of it is very beautiful indeed.Blessed Be!Robin Darkmere Magister de Glastonbury
