We have just lost our dear Wanda - she was nearly 14years and had a lovely last summer with our other 2 setters after a major operation that no-one thought she would pull through. She was so brave. Sadly she was diagnosed with cancer after we thought she might survive and we had to make that awful decision we all dread. We are absolutely devastated and distraught. We are now looking for another friend to rescue as we have the room and lifestyle that is perfect for these beautiful dogs. I am on Jenny's list but she has nothing at the moment. If anyone knows of one please get in touch. Many Thanks Shirley

We have hopefully found a 3 legged girl. She is a working dog from France and has to be rehomed due to no fault of her own. The owner is distressed to have to give her up, but she feels it is the best solution for the dog as her circumstances have changed. She contacted the rescue and we are so excited about getting her. We would love any advice for anyone about dealing with a disabled dog. She lost her back leg in a road accident - but it has not put us off adopting her. Lets keep our fingers crossed it all goes through. Thanks Shirley
