A very enlightening article Doretta. I was particularly interested when the Lib Dem guy stated that there was no evidence linking the increase in rat populations to fortnightly collections of rubbish. Funny that the only people blaming the collections for this are his political opponents. And to conclude, the (politically neutral) guy at the council states that there's not problem. It's best to bear in mind that you need to spout inflammatory rubbish to get elected or sell newspapers. |
