I think vorp is inviting speculation on the Top 5 individually ranked quizzers at the CI tournament, not among Woodside's quizzers. I could be wrong, though. Anyway, I think that Felicia will be on top again if Capitol City attends. Autumn Wells and Abby Carbonell will probably be fighting it out, maybe taking second and third. Woodside, Valley, and Old Paths exhibit real team effort. They have no real stars, but Maria, Amanda, and Grace will likely make Top Ten, if not Top Five. Calvary FL likes to talk on the Message Board and enjoys being mentioned. I don't fault them: they are without a doubt this season's breakout team, debuting at 5th place in Athens and threatening to overthrow FBCCF, which has long dominated the Florida field. I expect them to live up to their reputation in Colorado, and perhaps even have a quizzer in the Top 5. |

I've heard that the competition in Colorado should be a lot more difficult than Athens. Is that generally true? |

Yes, our youth pastor said that we are having some tough teams this year coming to our tournament. |

I can't wait to see Felicia this year, it seems like every year she gets better. I really think she has a good shot at top quizzer. I'm not as sure about Aaron and Autumn though because they're on the same team, so it may be a little difficut for them both to get high honors, unless they both quiz out in each quiz. But maybe they're not so equal as I thought. I think this CI will be one of the hardest ever- someone described it as having virtually no "weak" teams. aka- no "easy" quizzes. = a really tough tournament!! :) |
