Allergies are so hard to take care of without feeling tired and out of it. I mean it is far from worth it I would rather just sneeze all the time. I would like to find something that is natural and does not cause those side effects. Does anyone know of anything? |

Namaste Tina, There are many alternative treatment modalities for allergies. We have repeatedly had amazing success with both Transpersonal Hypnotherapy and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) One of the best aspects of EFT is that you can easily learn to do it yourself...self-healing at your fingertips. For more info about EFT go to www.emofree.com - the official EFT website. In Love & Light! Joy http://www.wolfstone.us Holistic Healing & Transpersonal Learning Center, Black Mountain, NC |

There is many things you can do to reduce your allergies. You can first off reduce the allergens in your home with a humidifier and keep the dust level down. Make sure the there is not alot of mold and mildew in your home. I have also heard of a natural product called claritose. I have never taking it but it looks like it might help. |

Pauline is right...it is important to reduce and eliminate as many allergens as we can from our environment. It is also a great help if we can determine which allergens are effecting us. Not everyone responds in the same way to toxins, as some people are allergic to, say, shellfish, and others are not. There are many hidden, or non-obvious, allergens in our environments, and even within our bodies (such as our friend who was allergic to the surgically-placed titanium in his ankles after a severe injury) We can be allergic to our laundry detergent, or our kitchen linoleum, and not even know that they are the cause of our symptoms. An excellent way to test for the source(s) of our reactions is through "applied kineseology" or "muscle testing." Once you have pinpointed the cause of the allergy it can be eliminated. If it cannot easily be eliminated, such as the titanium mentioned above, or a beloved family pet, or the linoleum that you or your landlord just went to great expense to install, then we would use EFT to counteract and neutralize the effect. This actually works! Also...not all seeming allergic reactions are even physical in fact. Many are caused by underlying emotional triggers, such as in the case of a woman who, as a child, lost a beloved aunt. The emotional trauma of seeing her aunt in the coffin at the funeral home, surrounded by huge displays of roses, caused an emotional association...and thus, later in life, every time she got near roses she would have an "allergic" reaction. Once this emotional response was discovered and treated with the EFT, the so-called allergy dissapeared. http://www.wolfstone.us Holistic Healing & Transpersonal Learning Center, Black Mountain, NC |

one thing what makes allergies in the US special bad is using the AC everything in your house will blow around a nd even while you sleep it goes deep in your nose and mouth. you body never gets rest and is 24 hours under fight... try at least having some times th AC NOT on and you will see that it makes an difference. in the car the filters have to be changed more often also... and washing the hair befor going sleep helps also an bit. http://www.firehazardbeads.com FireHazard |

Somja, That makes sense no matter the filter whihc cannot get the attached dust, mite doo-doo, etc. How about several negative ion generators with filtration. Does anyone know of the best? |
