The Bush cabal has used the official conspiracy theory of what happened on September 11, 2001 to justify a huge military cost (causing huge deficits and cuts in domestic programs), perpetual war and erosion of domestic civil liberties. I'm in Iraq, because of this "inside job" then? Iraqis are killing us and themselves because of our "inside job"? You really think Dubya is that smart? You really think you're that smart? If americans would do this to ourselves, what do you think others would do to us given the slightest opportunity? Do you think everyone likes you as a person? Why wouldn't hatred transfer from nation to nation, ideology to ideology? |

To those that spend countless hours researching the "9-11 Conspiracy": In researching any topic, I find it useful to attempt to find info that actually challenges my opinion instead of latching on to all the things that supposedly confirm what I already thought. I get the feeling that when you are confronted with info that doesnt go with your agenda it is automatically filed away in the "govt. propaganda" drawer. I would highly recommend you read the Popular Mechanics articles and book relating to 911 theories.(Very informative) I would also highly recommend watching the History Channel's 1 hour show addressing most, if not all, of the theories floating around these days. They examine theories popularized by movies such as Loose Change and other uninformed dreamers and get the facts straight. If youre as open minded as your bumper sticker suggests, you'll check it out. Otherwise, it just proves my theory about the majority of liberals to be true... Real open-minded folks...unless you disagree with them! |

Dapper Dan, there is simply too much out there on 9/11 that says it was an inside job, and Popular Mechanics is not a viable source, and yes, I did read it. Fact is it is itself part of the government cover up. |

As I stated in my original post: I get the feeling that when you are confronted with info that doesnt go with your agenda it is automatically filed away in the "govt. propaganda" drawer. Dont get me wrong; I am always skeptical of government, but usually because of its corruption and ineptness; not because of its ability to pull off an operation of this magnitude without one piece of hard prosecutable evidence surviving. After 9-11, I did as much research as I could. If there was a conspiracy, I wanted to know about it. Years later, I still read and watch a decent amount of relevant material. In all honesty, I still havent seen enough to be convinced of a government conspiracy. In fact, I have seen alot more that points towards the contrary. Out of curiosity, did you read the Popular Mechanics articles, book or both? What points do you feel were not factual? Any evidence that these articles or the book, or the History Channel show are part of the government cover up? Considering your distrust of our government, I hope that you dont vote for people that do nothing but increase the size and power of it. Please, enlighten me. |

I have watched all on this and from just about every viewpoint: scientific, visual, etc. How about Shanksville, PA and the lack of appropriate debris (baggage, etc.), ditto the Pentagon and WTC. The hole in the Pentagon wall was 16ft wide before they tore it down. I saw it on TV myself! I am a former Navy pilot. The aircraft that was supposed to do it had a wing span over 120 ft! IO could go on and on.... |

Popular Mechanics article said it was 75 ft hole in pentagon. Photographs prove it was 16 ft. |
