I don't know the specifics with IE (I assume you're running Windows with Internet Exploder) but I can use Mozilla to download from fileplanet no problem.I do have to have javascript and popups ENABLED, so I keep a Mozilla profile with the default configuration that it comes with, and it works fine. I have noticed that I can't use fileplanet when I have popups disabled, any kind of limiting the javascript permissions, and when trying to access it through my proxy server (need direct connection to the internet).Hope this helps.Try http://www.mozilla.org

Fileplanet is the part of Gamespy where you download the files. In IE, copy this text:http://dl.fileplanet.com/dl/dl.asp?cor/alteria1_0.exeAnd then paste it into your address bar. This should bring you to the file planet page with the file. It will need you to login with your gamespy id. Then it should return you to the download page.If it doesn't try repasting the above URL into your address bar again after you successfully login.Mozilla is an open source web browser which I consider to be superior to IE. You can download it for free fromhttp://www.mozilla.org

i got mozilla running and when i started using it and typed in the URL it just sat there for a while. i made a new account on gamespy and it doesnt work. i think the problem is in the ENABLING ADDS. to enable adds i have to click DISABLE ADDS and then re-subscribe and make a new accout. the i go back to the same homepage with still no access to any of the page. a while ago, before i got a new computer, i was able to log on to gamespy and the litle E with the peice of paper behind it on the address bar of internet explore turned into the little gamespy guy. if that is what is supposed to happen then i was logged on and i did succeed in getting a file. that was the only time i got anything from there.
