I am looking for a church near me that I can feel comfortable walking in to. I am a jeans and t-shirt person. I want to feel the warmth when I step in. I haven't been to church in a REALLY long time because I just don't get that feeling when I walk into most churches. Most that I walk into wouldn't except the fact I am tattooed, pierced, and love to ride my bike. I want that feeling again, & I want my children to know God the way I do. I pray at least a few times a day, & my kids know about God, but I want them to experience Him the way I have. I don't think God cares what I look like when I walk in so why should the people in the church? Please, anyone HELP ME!! It doesn't have to be a biker church, but I prefer to go some where that says "Come as your are, you will be loved!", and actually mean it. So if I do decide to walk in with my earrings, tongue & lip ring, tattoos, jeans, t-shirt, and on my bike (if my children are gone for the weekend) I can and not get those nasty looks and people are afraid to approach me. I am an out going person, and those who try to get to know the actual me, most of the time the really like me. |

I go to New Hope in Ennis. They have great programs for kids and youth. The Pastor is great and keeps the youth and childrens attention. Church starts at 10:30. You will take 287 from Waxahachie to Ennis go through town and under hwy45 you will pass McDonalds it will be on the right. I think its a great place for the kids mine love it. |

You don't say what area you are looking in, there are welcoming churches all around. The Dallas County Cowboy Church in Balch Springs, welcomes bikers. We have several and several people formerly of the life that visit. It's come as you are (as long as vital parts covered of course), we do have children there. |

I lead a group of riders that go to Fellowship Church in Grapevine. I was looking and serching for the same thing a couple we ride with invited us a little over a year ago to ride to church with them. I was worried about going in jeans, Tshirt and leathers but was almost overdressed. I have never frlt more at home. If you are in the Dallas area would be great to meet up with you and ride to church or just get together and talk. This is not your Grandmothers church it is cutting edge and relavant to today and our struggles. Also anyone else out there that wpold like to join us for a ride, go to church or just talk feel free to contact me. My email addres is posted or go to fcriders.com and follow the links.
