There has been a slip on the Rangitikei River on the section between Utiku & Mangaweka. There are large branches across the river in the second rapid down from the Virgin rapid. Please negotiate with care. |

tree has now washed out about 200m downstream of this rapid. At 67 cumecs the new rapid is an awesome bouncy wavey thing. Tree presents no danger as washed over to left bank and way downstream of the rapid. new rapid could be rock at low flow |
