As the result of the Poll page indicates, most people know that Omaha is apathetic. It seems that even if people know about the problems they will make no attempt to bring about the solutions. No one seems willing to make the appropriate sacrifices. |

nicole-you can stop by the prairie breaker/react collective house anytime. there is almost always someone home. it is at 3324 davenport st.(omaha). we cook food not bombs on sundays starting around 11 am. and serve it at 2:30 at the gene leahy mall. also we are going to have a strategy meeting on thurs. may 13th at 7 p.m. at the same address. we also work on prisoner support by sending books to pisoners, etc-one of our collective members actually wrote to christopher coleman for awhile and i think mailed him some books-we would like to get more people involved with this project also. last but not least we have been brewing our own beer and are thinking of starting a brewing and discussion night if there is enough interest-so stop by some time!! |

Hi there;It's Dave the self defense guy, sorry I dropped out of sight for so long, but wedded bliss agrees with me. Some friends of mine and I are considering doing some protest work in the coming months. Was wondering if you would care to meet. Hope all is well out there.BestDave |
