Opening Statement for the DefencePresented by Alistair LoganThis is a very sad case, and someone must be brought to account for this crime, but not My Client, Mr Hansworth, for he is an innocent man. The Prosecution would have you believe that this prominent politician and family orientated man is capable of kidnap and murder, and I will show you all that he is not.Gregory Hansworth is a father himself, and while we sympathise with the family that has suffered the terrible ordeal of losing a child, sending an innocent man to jail can’t achieve anything, and certainly will not lessen the pain they are feeling.I urge you to try and look past the theatrics displayed by the prosecution, and look into your hearts to find the answer to the question, Did Gregory Hansworth Kidnap and Murder Adam Test?
