The following was posted on the front page of the website: SPRING BREAKOUT 2006 RESULTS! At Spring Breakout 2006, L.A.W. crowned a new L.A.W. Heavyweight Champion when Tony Gunn forced Pokerface to submit to the YTO in a No Disqualification/No Countout Lumberjack Match. Tony deserves a big congratulations on this victory for a couple of reasons. First of all, Tony’s career was on the line in this match. If he lost the match, he had to quit professional wrestling forever. Also, this was the first single’s title that Tony has EVER won in his career! Obviously, Tony is estatic to be the NEW L.A.W. Heavyweight Champion. Congratulations Tony from all of us at L.A.W.! Also on the card: James Arnez found out who is OPPONENTS were in the HARDCORE MATCH. Before the match, L.A.W. President Jeff O’Dell came to the ring and announced that, in honor of the greatest HARDCORE WRESTLER in L.A.W. history, Moondog Spot, this match would be a “Moondog Rules” match. Then, he announced that Arnez’s opponent was Mississippi hardcore wrestling icon Justin Triviam. As Arnez LAUGHED at the diminutive stature of his opponent, O’Dell introduced Arnez’s OTHER opponent…PSYCHO!!! This match quickly left the ring as all three men brawled all over the building. Ultimately, it was Psycho who caught the pin on Triviam to win the match. Cruzin’ For Pain (Motley Cruz & 187) w/ Ms. Tasha Simone maintained their tag team dominance in L.A.W. by defeating the Black Label Society (A.J. Bradley & Void). Kryptonite defeated Tommy Drama in a “Battle of the Big Men”. After the match, Tommy Drama showed his disgust in losing his first match in L.A.W. in over a year by throwing what can only be described as a “tantrum” in the ring. L.A.W. and the great state of Arkansas saw female wrestling sensation Rebecca Raze make her successful debut when she defeated her MALE opponent Phoenix X. Christopher Wooley made his first successful L.A.W. in-ring appearance when he defeated Eric Hayes & Tommy Boy in a Triple Threat Match. |
