I'm hoping someone can help me. I did a stupid thing today. I replaced the amp in my R and started playing a record before I realized I had not plugged the speakers into the amp. I didn't turn the box off and attempted to connect the speaker plug. It was obvious I grounded the amp and speakers out and the turntable motor completely stopped running. I have checked and replaced all fuses I can find on the amp and receiver and the motor will not run. Every thing else is working, lights, select buttons, amp, ect.Is there a fuse hidden on the mech, or did I blow something? Can anyone help me? I feel sick over my stupidity.Thank You.

Hi Joe,Don't punish yourself. I've been there done that more times than I like to admit.I'm not familiar with Seeburgs. The best place to nag the Seeburg experts is Jukebox List. Just copy/paste your question and you're good to go.http://lists.netlojix.com/mailman/listinfo/jukebox-listJim

Thanks Jim:First let mme apologize for posting a Sburg question on your board. If I had looked a little more, I would have seen it was a Wurlitzer board. You'll be happy to know I have a great W 1800 that I've owned for 15 years. I on occasion have questions about it, and I will keep this site handy.I made a phone call this morning to an "expert" and he suspected I burned up the start/run cap on the Mech. I replaced it and all is well in jukebox land. Thanks again for your help and the neat site.Joe
