I am seeking informaion on a Thomas Bird, watchmaker, from England who lived in Joggins Mines Village during 1901. |

I found a T.H Bird in Joggins in the 1901 census.He was born 1834 and was 66.His wife Annie age 57 born 1844Daughter Isabella age 24 born 1876Son Sidney age 15 born 1886There is no record of any of the family in Cumberland County in the 1911 census.Many people who went to Joggins to open up business or to work in the mines would move on to Pictou County or into Cape Breton Island to work in the mines in those places.
