Just want to prod at an idea. I'd like to hear from anyone who has identified what element they are most drawn to,-Earth, Air, Fire, Water. I am drawn to water and fire. I know that nature and energies are liable to overlap and there's no reason why they shouldn't, indeed it would go against everything. But it's a curious thing that i'm undecided between the two. And they are such a contrast to each other. Feel free to share any insight. Blessed Be xx

Hello Magnolia Breeze, can I call you Mag? I think this is the most interesting topic I have seen, especially as it is something that I have also explored deeply. I wanted to identify with all of the elements, so over about a year, I lived in each one. I spent time with the element, for a period of time I wore the colours of each element, yellows and white for air, reds, oranges and black for fire, blues and whites for water and browns, greens and black for earth. I used what I read from books and adapted the ways I identified with the elements with my own insight and feelings. I had a great year, moments were hard with some self doubt, but the elements became living beings to me with personalities. I loved all of them and they were all supportive, your element water came to me one dusky evening in the woods as a light rain by the river, I wish you had been there, the woods became a divine cathedral, the river danced like I have never seen before and the puddles became bowls of diamonds! I was the only one in the woods, I felt wild, alert and like a deer?! (I know that sounds strange, but hope you can understand what I mean). I went home and had a bath and tried to conjure up some sad memories to see if I could cry, but what I learnt that night, is all of my very sad stuff, is in the past and no longer has a hold. That night I dreamed a wonderful water dream, I was in a whirlpool, surrounded by smooth boulders, the sky was blue and a waterfall was cascading in from one side. I was swimming with all of the children in my family they were all scared of the whirlpool and I was showing them how to dive into the waterfall and then let the whirlpool whizz you round and then catapult you out into the pool. I often visit the elements now, and work with them, I use my 'element clothes' to identify with an element that I need to be with for the day, but I know absolutely that I am of the Earth-Fire elements. It has helped me so much to accept not only myself and my ways in life but also other people's. I hope you would like to talk further about why you feel you are a fire-water element person and your experiences with it, I would be happy to tell you anything else you would like to know about my experience. Much love, Rowan.

Hello Magnolia ~ What a pair we would make, because I myself am drawn to Air and Earth. All of the elements complement eachother, and I've found my affiliation to two opposing elements to be very balancing. When I am feeling stuck, I have my air nature to call on, allowing me to dance through obstacles unattached. If I am feeling spacey, Mother Earth is always there to envelop and strengthen. Perhaps fire sparks your passion when feeling directionless. And maybe water soothes and allows you to let go when you feel fiery. I've found the elements work together in ways both energetic and physical...perhaps you can develop your power by exploring the way they interact with eachother within yourself.
