My father was born in Stedman, NC in l901. His father fought in the Battle of Bentonville as a 15 year old Confederate soldier at the end of the Civil War. I am a lawyer in Greenville, SC. Would love to hear from fellow Geddies. |

I was born in Durham, NC at the Duke Hospital in 1941,and adopted by MSG & Mrs. M.T. Brewer of Fort Bragg. Many of my adoptive Mother's relatives still live in Fayetteville, Wade, and Stedman, NC. I don't have any information other than my name at birth, Patty Geddie. I would like to know more, so if anyone can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. |
