first of all, i would like to say to all the idiots who said "why do you go to this website if you wont like good charlotte." to all you morons it says "good charlotte forum." you can't even look at the very top of the page and see what it says? It says: "Good Charlotte Forum" ( Please Don't Talk About How Hot They Are, Talk About They're Music )" it doesn't say the "i love good charlotte website" so if you look up the word "forum" it says: Main Entry: fo·rum Pronunciation: 'fOr-&m, 'for- Function: noun 1. a public meeting place for open discussion; a medium (as a newspaper) of open discussion or expression of ideas 2. a judicial body or assembly 3. a public meeting or lecture involving audience discussion; a program (as on radio or television) involving discussion of a problem usually by several authorities a place of open discussion. it doesn't say anywhere that you have to like the band to go to this website. it is a website to talk about the band. jeeze kids the days with their mtv! all the reasons why good charlotte quite possibly sucks 1. they sing like hilary duff and britney spears which equals pop. 2. they sold their souls to MTV, a devil in the form of a tv station which tries to hard to be cool 3. they think they are punk 4. they're the Nsync of the so called punk "rawk" world 5. the ruin the punk scene, making it mainstream 6. they're like avril lavigne and simple-plan 7. they smell like gorilla poo, or so i've heard |

dude what "meagan" was saying is that the guy on here that is using the name GC Sucks shouldn't be wasting his time posting hate on GC.Thats all. I just thought I would clear that up for willow! |

good charlotte sucks. i'm really sorry they do. they lack any musical depth. all they do is sing about teenage angst in a pop manner and almost, dare i say trying to be emo. where is the symbolism? where is the profundity? where is the poetry? there isn't any at all. how can you seriously compare something so poetically inept as: "All they do is piss and moan Inside the rolling stone Talkin'about how hard life can be." TO "the tape hiss will cover the words that he sings but then they say it's better to bury your sadness in a graveyard or garden that waits for the spring to awake from its sleep and burst into green." is that even a competition? i don't think they're even in the same league. good charlotte's playing teeball while conor is playing major league. and seriously, Meagan... "they seriously has no life if they post about a band they don't like evey minute. its sad. your life can't suck that much" before you try to equate good charlotte and every other stupid pop punk band to any other good band, try to fix any grammatical errors which may have occured. and don't moan about all the people who decided they want to spend a little bit of time complaining about a band they hate. everyone is entitled to their own opinion. i choose to spend my time writing this reponse to because i can do whatever i damn well please. i may not have a life, but i know my life doesnt involve any good charlotte. and that life, my friend, is a good life. |

although everyone is titled to their own opinion you don't have to tell everybody your opinion in a bratty way!no they maybe not the best band in the world but at least they made something of themselves. |
