Has anyone noticed how "perfect" all of the songs on the new, Capital Albums Volume One on CD sound? The vocals and music tracks are perfect. Any tampering (e.g., sound pitching, etc.) by EMI when preparing these for release? The Beatles were great musicians and singers but the songs on the first four US albums all sound absolutely perfect. I remember some flat notes (more so vocals) on the early songs. |

Do a poll of Beatles fans and ask them what they'd want released; the original Capitol Albums would be damn near the bottom of the list. Unfortunately Apple only release one new Beatles product every year or so; so the blasted Capitol releases will hold up up any decent releases (The LET IT BE DVD or the WHITE ALBUM DEMOS CD) for several years. Blasted Americans and their stupid US albums. |

LISTEN BIG JOHN. NO ONE HERE IN AMERICA ASKED FOR THOSE CAPITOL RELEASES. Thats what capital does thats what does releases crap that no one wants. I would love to see them come out with an official LET IT BE DVD release, or maybe a chunk of the GET BACK JOURNALS. They wont though you know why? First of all if you ever heard any of it its too much of the same songs over and over. Don't get me wrong I love and have heard every take they ever did, but its the death of the group and no one wants to face ever putting that out which is just sad really. So don't blame all americans for capital and now apple for being gready bastards and selling us stuff that most of us already have on vinyl. THANKS PEACE!! |
