Hey Hugh old boy bearing in mind that us ex-doctorates are over 40 (at least) those new click-on titles are near enough impossible to make out. Any chance of a rethink old fellow?

I'm over 40, can read them fine and think they are a definite improvement to the homepage and very cool.
What's all this recent hen-pecking on the forum about anyway?
Julian

Most of it seems to be aimed at me Julian. I
wouldn't be surprised if it's an old drinking mate
doing it for a laugh.
...Oh how we laughed.
See you at Hunter in Leeds Andy.

C'mon Hugh, be fair. We're BORED. DOM only did 3 albums and we've discussed them to death.... We don't want this site to dry up. Have to keep pumping somehow untill RS get more product out. I went to see Ian Hunter t'other night y'know....

It would also be true to say that The Doors and The Velvet Undergound only made 3 good albums each. (Their first 3). I am sure that very few artists can keep up the momentum. When a band gets its first recording contract, it usually features all the best songs that they have played for ages and bulit up their following with. If they have a good writer, then maybe a couple more LP's of simaæar quality can be squeezed out. But only Lennon/McCartney/Dylan have been able to continually find great material time after time - LP after LP, and even then, you could not argue that the Lennon/McCartney output was as "heavy" as the stuff on the Doc's 3 LP's
Or What ????????

Hi Andy
wasn't about to 'moderate' your input... going 'off subject' is fine, in fact I welcome it, if it's to do with music at all. unfortunately there's been some less, er, constructive posting going on from time to time, and while I don't want to have to play the table monitor here, I kind of feel I should maintain a level of decorum!

Quite right too, m'friend. And I'd throw that Jim off. Obviously a loon.
