Hi all! Did anyone see Drew on X Factor last night? He was singing alongside Nicola Dawn, Lucy Newton, Andrew Newey and 2 others I didn't recognise (sorry!). Was fabulous, as Simon Cowell has been putting down musical performers for years, yet didn't guess that they ARE Musical performers, and thought they were impressive, different and fresh! Hi Maxine :) Weren't they just amazing?!! Thanks for helping to put a few names to faces! I've been wracking my brains!!!! Hi Lisa! I didn't recognise Liz Ewing! I will have to scan through all my programmes to see if I can find the 'last member' of the group! They were so good! Am gutted that I didn't record it, as was caught unawares on Saturday, and family were watching The Chase when it was repeated on Sunday! Oh well. Can't wait for the next phase now! x x x x |

The Unconventionals were Robbed! They should have won!!! There is NO way they deserved to go out yesterday, when tone deaf, off key performers went through!!!!!!!!!! Anyway rant over lol! I think Drew wasn't that good on saturday on the X factor. It sounded like a terrible mess. Like a bunch of drunken bridesmaids getting up to do Karaoke during a wedding party. G4 version 2.1 was just not going to happen again. Instead of calling themselves the ' unconventionals' they should have called themselves 'Taboo' as most of them originated from this musical. still i would like to see Drew do a amazing almighty remix of 'fade to grey. |

Well I thought they were fine! Yes, the competition is tough this year, but there were at least Two acts that were downright dreadful on the night, and they weren't even in the bottom two! I guess it depends on who is voting/watching, and perhaps they just didn't 'get' the Unconventionals. It's their loss, and we will probably be stuck watching run of the mill types when it gets down to the final few, and those that are more unusual, and possibly more interesting, will be long gone. x x x x |
