Hello Cram researchers, As many of you know, I have been doing DNA testing for some years - trying to prove or disprove relationships between those surnamed Cram, and similar, around the world. I would like to know for certain, if I am related to the Scottish branch of Cram, as this connection has not yet been fully proven or disproven. Therefore, I am looking for a male Scottish Cram, presently living in Scotland, with a good paper pedigree (at least back to about 1825), who will be willing to join the Cram DNA Surname Project, right away, and have a DNA test done... for free. The tester will receive a DNA test-kit from DNA Heritage, by post, take DNA cells from his mouth, painlessly, with the cotton swabs provided, sign the consent form, and send it back with the swabs, to DNA Heritage, using the pre-paid envelope provided. The test results will be ready in about three weeks, after which, the tester’s DNA results will be shown on the Cram DNA Surname Project website. Note: This test is only available to one person: the first person to reply to this message - who fits the description above and would like to take part - please let me know, and I will sign you up. Good luck. Sincerely, Barry Cram (Cram Surname Project Manager). P. S. The offer will end on Saturday, 20th September 2008.
