Hello all, Great site I am looking to see what front IFS suspensions will be good for the COE. Pull cab and install on newer frame? Cut front clip weld in new? or does TCI make one Thanks |

Hi Dave I presume you are in the USA whereas I am in Australia. Most guys seem to use C30 or P30 (motorhome Chassis complete with C30 Front IFS. Over here Downunder I am using the C30 Front IFS under my original 41 Ford Chassis but only cos of our Regulations. Hope that helps. Bill. |

Thank you Bill for your replys, i have not found any forums here in US and i like yours. hope you guys dont mind. I have the flathead still in the cab and runs pretty well but every time i take it out and actually drive, The engine will run for about 3-10 min. then start to miss, and cut out if i back off the pedel it will idel but not for long then it just misses and dies. I cant see too many things that can be wrong, I checked the points, replaced spark plugs, i just got the carb rebuilt so i am going to try that tomarrow, whats straing is that it will start right up and sound real nice but until i put a load on the engine thats when it will start to cut out while driving.
