It's time to start on my truck my 70 mustang is done.Just to refresh I have a 55 Ford C-600 with a 272 4sd 2sd dif and have gotten 5.9 cummins with a 4sd allison auto behind it to put in the truck. I am going to change is from 20" to 22.5 rims and I'm probably changing the crown& pinion as well it's too low.I would like some opinions and idea's on this swap. One question I do have right off the bat is will the front suspension hold the weight.I have no tags or records of GVW or GAW for the truck. The rear is not a problem it is to be a car hauler.

Hi Curt
I myself want to do the same thing with my 41. I am going to set the engine back a couple of feet so I will take the weight off the front end, which will give me a better ride. I don't think you will have any problems with a standard mount if you are planning to do so, and you will have a great running truck. depending on the size of your tires will determine the rear-end ratio so that will taks some research on your part. RPM should be around 2200, and you will get great millage. Good luck 47 COEMAN
