Here's the pic links: http://home.earthlink.net/~ventiport/4 0-FCOE-01.jpg http://home.earthlink.net/~ventiport/4 0-FCOE-02.jpg http://home.earthlink.net/~ventiport/4 0-FCOE-03.jpg This tired COE has been owned by the same guy for a good 15 years, unfortunately- sitting outside. Very rough but all there, 85 HP flathead, 1-speed rear, duallie, factory Ford stake body, 134" wheelbase. Has a lot of rust, the interior is very rough also, and there are a few deviations from stock (like the bumpers, and I thought all duallie COEs used the 2-spd rear- but there's no shifter for a 2-spd either). The asking price is $1500 firm and it's located in central New Jersey. It's hard to take decent pics because it's rather 'hemmed in' by a fence, tree & other vehicles, but if anyone's interested, I could try. Also, transportation is available cross-country (for a fee of course). If anyone's interested, e-mail me at ventiport(-REMOVETHIS-)@earthlink. net for more info. And NO: the owner will NOT part it out (unless you want to spend the whole $1500 on 1 or 2 pieces!)

OK- I see now how this board formats posts. In case it's not clear- there are 3 picture URL links above- you'll have to highlight & paste them in a new window to see the pics. Also- the board software split up my e-mail address. Thanks!

Hi Mark Thanks for posting that 40 COE stuff on the Forum, pity it is so far away from me. And I thought my COE was rusty, you have made me feel better thank you. I have passed the message onto someone who may be interested, even if only for the Stainless. Catch you later Bill Downunder

(Not that I got any response from this ad, but) the above truck has been sold. Pieces of it will go to repair another COE in western Canada.

Mark. Just for your information the 1940 and early models were 1.5ton versions and had only a single speed rearend. The 2 ton version that was an option in 1942 and maybe 41 had the 2 speed rearend. My 42 has only the single speed rearend and is the 1.5 ton model. Thanks for posting and sorry for being a hermit lately. Honeydo projects lately. Got to keep the wife happy so it is easier to get parts and time for my Truck.
