Hello there, I am looking for a certain kind of rabbit I once saw at a pet store. It was a chocolate color and VERY soft almost like velvet. After doing some research I found out that it's a rex rabbit. Do you have any available to buy? If so how much? I have 2 children and they love animals. My husband and I were thinking about getting them a bunny, one that we can keep indoors. Something they can hold, snuggle and just plain have fun with. Would you recommend this kind of rabbit? In the summer time we would like to be able to take it out some and hang out on the grass so it can have a feel for the outdoors also. How big of a cage do we need once it's full grown? Growing up I had rabbits, nothing fancy and they were kept in a barn I never had one kept inside. Were not looking for something that get's big. Can you please help me? Thanks. |

hello, Rexes can make great rex and are one of my personal favorites. If you get a Rex you'll need a 3 ft by 3 ft cage at least. If you want a smaller rabbit I may also suggest a mini rex. The mini rex is just like the rex only smaller (they grow up to 5 pounds). Anyway if you have any more questions E- mail me or you can check our my rabbit website (it's not finished yet but in like a month it'll be totally ready) Thanks, Gwen 4H champion rabbit showman http://myweb.cableone.net/abrunelle/bunnyhome.htm a rabbit website with health, breed, and rabbitry information |
