I went to the YCRBA website and came across a message stating that there are no registered guinea pig breeders in the state of Maine b/c of a recently passed law. What is that about? We can breed rabbits and show them, but not guinea pigs? Confused. |

Last year there was a preposal in maine that If a breeder sold more then a few pig you would need a liscence and be inspected, ect. It was a very conserning law. If was approved but had a time limit as to when they had to put inplace the laws and the state did not finish the process therefore the law fell through.
