I was born in Swingle Hospital in 1951 and went to school with the children of Dr. Swingle. He was a highly respected surgeon at the time he owned and operated the hospital. Dr. Swingle elected to close the hospital in the mid 50's due to the pressure of both owning/operating a hospital and also performing surgery. Guys, there ain't no ghosts and the idea of Dr. Swingle being anything but a fine physician is ludicrous... Sorry to bust everyone's bubble. |
