I am trying to gigure out if there is a connection between George Jack BOAL of Iowa City and William BOAL. William moved to Johnson County, Iowa sometime prior to 1870. He died in 1880 and was buried in the Oakland (Solon) Cemetery, Big Grove Township, Johnson County, Iowa. He may be the father of John S. BOAL who lived in Washington County, Iowa. |

I think William is the son of James Boal and Elizabeth Welch. Check our genealogy page at boalmuseum.com. I haven't been able to find a connection other than geographic proximity between the Welch Boals and the Boal Mansion Boals. |
