There is a gravestone for a James Boal 1814-1874 in Clandeboye near Bangor. This area was thick with Boals. |

Our genealogy at http://boalmuseum.com lists a james Boal, b. 1805 married to a Martha (not Mary) Ann. I wonder if that is the James you are looking for. |

Ronald Boal Williams: I am looking for the parents of Robert Boal, born 1816 in Newtownards and immigrated to Canada in abt 1832. He would have been 16 or so and did he travel alone or with parents. Did he have siblings? Do you have any information that would be helpful? Barbara |
