Nobody has mentioned lowys to my mum but I think that is probably what my dad has. He has got Parkinsons and is getting hallucinations. My qu is this. He is in hospital at the moment. He has lost a lot of weight. He is refusing to eat or drink. He is hallucinating and they've sedated him and put him on a drip. My mum is going spare because she is convinced he should be getting his parkinsons meds, but is being told there is nothing they can do if he won't take them. I'm going to stay with her (I live 150 miles away) and see if I can see the doctor and discuss the situation. What should I be asking? Also, my dad has been miserably ill for 2 yrs now and I know he does not want to live. Is he likely to die soon? Horrid qu I know, but it would be best.
