I have a 6 mo. female pap that is attached to me with velcro! I can't move without her. She is mostly potty trained outside, but I have to stay with her. When she starts playing, I try to go inside and she beats me in. If I am quick enough to get in, she barks and cries outside until I either go out or let her in. It sure would be nice to just let her out to poop or play. Any suggestions? |

My pap loves it outside, I don't know what he is going to do this winter. He will have cabin fever |

You shouldn't be leaving a pap outside alone to begin with. Both of mine will come in when they see me by the door. I can't think of anywhere, where there isn't a hawk wanting to snatch your pap up. If I could post pictures of the birds circling waiting to grab mine I would. |

Your post made me smile, My pap is also sooooo attached to me. He won't go unless I go with him and most of the time is back inside before I am. That's a pap for you. |

I have to agree with the above poster. Papillons and other small breeds are not meant to be left alone outside. Wether hawks, bigger dogs, raccoons, people or whatever, there are far too many dangers. The fact that he wants to come in proves the very nature of a Papillon, they are smarter than their owners! |

LOL! Yep, they are velcro dogs. I haven't been able to pee alone in four years. Sorry, but get used to it. :) And also, it's true, it's dangerous to leave them alone outside. The are smaller than rabbits and are at risk to get picked up by raptors or owls. http://www.myfourdogs.com |

Help your dog do its thing outside. Never leave him alone for he will never learn then. Guide him. http://www.trainpetdog.com/Papillon/about-papillon.html about papillon training |
