I was Sergant Ira Jackson with the 59th Infantry Platoon ScoutDog 196 Inf Bgde 23rd Infantry Div. In Aug 1971 w I was Awarded the Bronze Star Medal With V de- vice for Heroism on 20th of June 1971. That day my Dog Count Detected 15 North Vietnamese Soldiers, and a fire fight followed. And the rest is in General Orders Number 8976 Dated 11 August 1971. In the History of the Unit my Name and Awards was not Documented because my Comanding Officer Lt. Homer I Still and First Sergent (SFC) Rodriguez did not like me. By the way I was also Awarded the Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal, And Air Medal at the same time. Please Forward this to Bert Hubble.
