I'd like to find the parents of Nancy J Lanam, born about 1821, her obit said she was born Feb 28 1820 in Monroe Co, OH. She married Thomas Pryor in Morgan Co on the 20 Apr 1845 and they had several children: Lydia, Samantha, Sarah Ann, J. Ellen, Maranda, Margaret, Ambrose, William and Mary R.C. She died in Guthrie Co, IA 9 Aug 1892. |

Shannon, have we considered that maybe your Nancy is the daughter of Thomas Hunter Piles? I have his daughter Nancy listed as born about 1816 so it's not that far off and Thomas's wife Mary would have only been 46 in 1821 so it would be possible. What do you think? |
