the ferguson unit has rats the prisoners in solitary do not get out an hour a day maybe onced a month no hot showers no clean boxers or jumpers roaches no phone calls at all medical staff is a malpractice law suit |

Yes that is typical of TDCJ, they claim it is because of shortage of guards. If they do not have enough guards to do the jobs, I say release the non violent inmates. You can contact the head of the Correction Committee, Rep. Jerry Madden, have his staff to do some investigation. His office is good about doing this. Go to Texas Legislature Online, house members, find his name, will take you to a page and look on there for his website, click on there and when you get there will be a place to send an email.We must never stop bringing the AWARENESS to the lawmakers in order to make a change.
