I am writing this reguarding my son Kay T.Thompson #1318546. He is currently at Hughes Unit at Gatesville for burglary. He started working on a unit cleaning and some of the inmates wanted him to do illegal favors for them that would have given him a new case if he were caught so he wouldn't do it. So an inmate threw urine on him and said next it would be feces. He reported this to a guard who said he couldn't do anything about it because he didn't see it happen but he could see the urine all over my son. This guard wouldn't even let him take a shower and made him sit in some guys urine all day long. Then my son asked for protective gear to work in and was denied. So he didn't return for work and they wrote him four major cases stating that he would not turn out for work with no good reason. I think getting bodily fluids thrown on you is a very good reason. He filed all his grivences and were all denied. I called to speak to the Warden Dean several times and was told she would call me back which never happened and never will. Then my son said he was eating and a lady guard named Moore walked up to him and said, your mom should have killed you at birth because white women should not sleep with black men because blacks are filthy. When my son went to report this to Capt Sigmon, he said get out of my face before I lock you up. These guards need to be held accountable for the things they do to inmates and need to learn that they are not above the law. It just makes me sick what these criminals guards are allowed to get away with. Sonething needs to be done. I have read so many horror stories about what these guards are doing to inmates and getting away with. |

My partner is in protective custody at Hughes Unit AKA Gay Town. I would suggest getting in contact with SGT Sharp, I am told that she is one of the few and i mean very few decent correction guards that plays by the rules. if i can be of any help to you, please email me. |

They can't get anyone to work inside the prisons for the low wages they offer-all they require is a GED and prison attracts sadist who get off to having complete domination over these inmates. http://texasprison.250free.com |
