My father was born in Nanty Glo. He told me when I was very young, that Bill Hartack was born in Nanty Glo, too. I've read conflicting stories online and in magazine articles and other publications. They include, he was born in: Johnstown Ebensburg Anyone know for sure? |

Billy was born in Twin Rocks or Belsano I am not sure whick but believe it was Twin Rocks. He started his racing career in Charlestown, WVA. |

Not certain where he was born, but grew up on a farm on the Nicktown road about a mile from Belsano |
