I am a little concerned about the growing number of magic eBooks I see for sale. For example I have seen books, probably out of copyright but never-the-less that version surely protected by the people who scanned and repackaged the work. In this case it was The Learned Pig. But, does this give an 'owner' of that digital beek the right to sell and resell and resell some more? Comments please John Gordon http://www.MagicWorks.co.uk |

I understand your concern, for it is mine also. I am concerned about many digital exchanges of magic. We need someone to change the face of magic, its media and the way it is distributed. Another thing is that sites like youtube do not have a policy about revealing magic, I wish they did. I do think that someone needs to give people a message. Robert Houdin stopped a war with the Light and Heavy Chest, magic can be powerful, why do we not use it this way. Also, John, do I know you, I knew a John Gordon, I met him at The Magic Circle, but I tried to get in touch with him once and he never got in touch with me. |
