I just read a few articles on the pre-existence of our savior Jesus. A lot of it makes senses but am still unsure. Here are a few questions I have. Maybe I found more mis-translations. Any help in answering them would be most appreciated. 1. The impression I got was that if another ordinary person was able to do what Jesus did during there life on earth, they too can be worshiped as Jesus was. 2. Acts 10:34 - It seems God made an exception for Jesus. 3. The penalty for sin is death. Why would a human baby who is without sin not suffice as our Passover Sacrifice instead of Jesus. 4. Hebrews 7:1-6 - Who is Melchizedek of the OT? I've always been taught it was Jesus. 5. Joshua 5:15 - Who is Joshua worshiping? We know angels don't let humans worship them i.e. Revelation 19:9-10, Deuteronomy 6:13-15 6. Phillipians 2:5-8 - It seems to me he voluntarily gave up his power. Again any help any of you can provide would be most appreciated. :) |
