What is Idolatry? Babies playing with dolls? Photos of dead ancestors? Is the symbol of Christianity (the crucifix) an Idol? These are "straw man" arguments, red herrings, that are distracting us from noticing real Idolatry. The real danger of Idolatry is when the "law" forces you to obey, and sacrifice to the Idol. Such as the "law" forcing Daniel to bow down to an image of the otherwise invisible (in reality non- existent) Bel. By this measure the U.S.A. has got to be the most idolatrous nation on Earth. Did you ever hear of the "legal" doctrine called "corporate personhood?" Have you ever wondered how a "Union" can sign a contract that you did not sign, and yet bind you into obeying it? Have you ever wondered how "things" such as PETA, NRA, EPA, or any countless number of groups, can make laws for us to follow, and then are allowed to bribe (with campaign contributions) "our" representatives into voting in favor of passing those laws? Have you ever wondered how a corporation can be a tax payer (A corporation can be a tax collector for the government, but its customers are the humans who will really pay the tax. In this case idolatry is a fascist trick employed to pretend that a tax falls upon a corporation not upon people.) Corporate personhood is the justification behind a whole slew of inequities, like collective bargaining, free "speech" for lobby groups, corporate taxation, etc. Corporate personhood is a lie. It not only violates the 1st Amendment, it is, in fact a clear violation of the 1st Commandment as well. We are not "allowing" "corporate persons" to exist, we are pretending they do (to our detriment). The corporation has been granted all the rights of a person, but it is immortal, invisible, and influences the making of laws that we will have to obey. We and our children's children, for generation after generation, will be punished for disobeying these laws but the corporation continues forever un-punishable. Clearly Idolatry, and ensconced into the law of our "Christian" nation. Are you really a Christian, (or a Jew or Muslim for that matter) or are you committing IDOLATRY? Groups, organizations, associations, industries, corporations, etc. are not individual living persons. A non-human, legal entity can’t really claim that its free speech is being denied. Each member of a group already merits free speech as an individual. The groups themselves warrant no free speech, they are merely a concept or an idea; it’s not even possible for these “things” to speak! Free speakers are invented out of nothing and granted (by those who are collecting the bribes) the ability to make huge political donations. Obviously, this farce greatly dilutes the true free speech that is uttered by actual humans. Our (the only real) free speech is practically worthless by comparison. We mere mortals can't compete against powerful artificial beings, (invisible, intangible, immortal entities, that have been unconstitutionally granted more powerful speech than any human, but actually exist only in contemplation of man's "law") for the favors of our own elected representatives. These “things” are trying to pass laws that induce you to serve them. The insurance industry is an idol if it can pass a law forcing you to buy health insurance. The union is an idol if it can force you by law to pay dues. The gas company is an idol if you believe that "it" is paying taxes so you don't have to. A person's rights are endowed by his creator, God (a fine sentiment, No?). Who endows a corporation with any such rights? If the Supreme Court can "create" a corporate "person" and endow it with free speech, then I will have to obey laws that it "speaks" to my congressman. Blasphemous Idolatry! I am now a conscientious objector to obeying laws. Will you join me in the lion's den?
