This year is my first Passover celebration and I tried my best to get rid of all leaven products from my apartment. I thought it best to purchase Streit's Matzo Balls Mix made especially for Passover. I happened by chance to read the ingredients and to my surprise was shocked to read that it contained Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda). So I could not in any good conscience prepare it for the holiday. Here is a link of the reason cited by Streit's to use this ingredient in their product.
