By their FRUITS you shall know them. Look at the fruits of Islam (war, famine, sickness, slavery, rape, basic civil human violations) and compare them with the fruits of Christianism, (love, aid, health, money, happiness, freedom, liberty) and then decide which one is the true, real, practical religion. |

The Bible tells us to be honest and kind to everyone, even our enemies. What does the koran say? I must say I have never met a honest muslim, why? Is it against the koran to be honest to a christian???? |

I have to say that I am pretty disturbed by the posts on this thread. As a Christian I lived in Israel for 4 months, with stays in Egypt and Jordan. I experienced the kindness and generosity of Jews, Christians, and Muslims. There are honest people in every religion and sect, as well as those who either don't live their religion or are hypocrites. I believe the Savior Jesus Christ taught that love and understanding were the path of his disciples and all those who wished to follow him. I know that in the height of Islamic regimes, the Sultans regarded Christians and Jews as "people of the book." Christianity, Islam, and Judaism have all had their share of violence, murder, and other terrible examples. The OPPOSITE IS TRUE TOO. I believe that Christ would want everyone to seek for peace, even if we disagreed with each other in our beliefs. I have never read where Christ commanded us to fight and kill to convert others to our way of thinking. I believe that GOD IS LOVE. It saddens me that EXTREMISM is taken as the way everyone conducts themselves. I know that I would not like to be associated with Hitler or the Crusaders who even killed other Christians in the name of religion just as I know that Muslims in the general population don't want to be associated with terrorists, nor Jews with Zealots. We need to have constructive dialogue to find the similarities that we all share. I know that there are a lot more than the differences. Please educate yourselves more about other religions and cultures before you go parading around your ignorance and lack of tact when dealing with people who are different than yourself. I feel that the friendships I have made with people of other faiths and cultures make me a stronger person in my beliefs because I can see where TRUTH PERMEATES ALL BOUNDARIES. |

There is no proof that Hitler was Christian, but that he was, in fact, a Pagan. And as far as the Crusades go, they were in response to MUSLIM AGGRESSION INTO CHRISTIAN EUROPE. It was only after the Muslim Turkish and Muslim Moorish invasions into Southern and Eastern Europe did the Christian monarchs decide to embark on their holy Crusade to take the holy lands back from the Satanic Muslim hordes. I realize that it is politically correct in todays day and age to villify the Crusaders, but it is not founded on historical fact or based on truth. |
