Thats it then...the picnic will be scheduled for July 4th or 5th...this is a legal holiday in the states (4th), and most of us will be off on the 4th, so if we can get a spot at the park for the 4th we will do it then...if not, then on the 5th. Make your plans and reservations for this time. California folks...dont leave before the 6th....out of town folks, call the California folks & make your house reservations!! We will plan on the same family colors as the last shindig, and will do a potluck...as well as have games & prizes....start planning now! & email suggestions to maydacbrann@yahoo.com...Lets get this thing rollin' folks!!! :) Editor at Large (and this has nothing to do with size! ) |

Great...!!! Us folks here in Texas will gather to see when we will be leaving and with who we will stay with. Can somone please tell us what colors were used last time so that we can start to order our shirts. Looking for forward to see everyone. |

I have been neglecting the Gomez Gazette for a long time and now I see that we will be missing the reunion too! Where has my head been, I should have been keeping in touch. I AM SO SORRY!!!!! Anyway, The Murphy Family will not be attending the 2003 Gomez Reunion. =( Ted's family has had a yearly reunion which is always held on the 4th of July in Illionis. We have never attended eventhough Ted has always wanted the family to be there. Well this is to be the year. Is there anyway the date can be changed? If not, it will be fine. We will be there for the next family reunion! I know someone will make arrangements to take care of my/our Dad and have him at the great reunion. If you need any help let me know. I do have some potato sacks that can be used for the games and a couple of volley balls. Oh year, I also have lots of softballs, just in case there is a game or two. Let me know. |

EEEEKKKK!!! Oh no! Well then lets put the last and final date out there...Sat, June 28th...this is one week before the 4th. Everyone...please recheck the schedules...if this doesnt work, then we will keep the 4th :( |

June 28th it is....This date is now final...make your travel arrangements now! :) I will be posting the color schemes at a later date, as soon as I find the old pics! Can't wait to see everyone!! |

Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you! I can't wait for the Gomez Reunion. I wonder how many new little faces will be the panorama picture this time? It's been a long, long time. It make me a little sad to think that there will be some little faces missing in our photograph, but then I think, WOW wouldn't they be happy and proud to see how big our wonder family has grown! Please let me know if there is anything we can do to help put this great event together. YEAH, JUNE 28, 2003 - GOMEZ FAMILY REUNION!!!!! |

June 28 it is! I will make sure we make no other plans. For those of you with short term memories, here are the colors each of the families wore at the last reunion. I'm looking at a picture of the immediate family taken that day. Sooo,if my eyes don't deceive me, here are the colors worn by each clan: The patriarch and matriarch of the family wore cream; Lupe's_navy blue; Josefina's_deep ocean blue; Miguel's_orange; Consuelo's_hot pink; Maria's_red; Jose's_brown; Lola's yellow; Luis's_white; Queta's_green; Leno's_powder blue; Carolina's_purple. Brother Salvador was not in this picture physically, although I'm sure he joined all the fun from his special place in heaven. One of Chava's clan must remember the color they wore...so do tell. Count on my help for whatever you need. Mil gracias a las organizadoras del la reunion. |

If memory serves me right, I think the Chava clan had some awesome burgandy colored T-Shirts with their actual family tree printed on them, right? Correct me if I'm wrong. |

Yes Tia you guessed right burgandy is the color with are family tree that we wore for the last reunion only we will need to make some changes on the T-Shirts since the family has grown since then we need to add them on the family Tree. |

Jun 28th might be a problem for us, financially. We were already planning on being in L.A. 4th of July weekend because of our trip to Cancun and the picnic. Not sure if we could afford to be in L.A. twice. JUST KIDDING! Back-to-Back weekends at home with family ...... I couldn't ask for more. Can't wait to see everyone. |
