Hi all - Hope everyone on this board is having a good year.
I am looking for some good fishing near Elkhart Lake, WI. The wife and I are heading up there for the weekend, and I am bringing my gear.
If there are any good trout streams or any good tribs off of Lake Michigan with some salmon in it, and you are willing to share, I'd appreciate any tips.

I beleive that any of the inland streams around there are going to be closed. You can pick up a trout reg booklet and know for sure though. The Sheboygan and the Pigeon rivers aren't too far away and they both receive browns and steelhead this time of year. Most of the tribs to Lake Michigan hold steelhead and browns this time of year...Port washington and Sauk creek I would not try though...if you ever fished there you woud know why. More of a cement drainage ditch than creek probably at this point of the year. Hope that helps some.

waterpig,
Thanks for the reply. I did find out that the inland trout are off limits. I heard that the Sheboygan and the Pigeon are my best bets for browns/steelhead. Do you know of any public access points? How close are they to Elkhart Lake? This is near area for me, and I don't want to overstep my boundaries.
