I just got two civil war dischange documents with eagle/flags, signatures for James Butler in CPT Bamford's Co H 1sy Md Inf and another for him Co H 13th RGT Md IInf oc CPT John Brownley. I want to sell them. cell 614 282-9685

I checked the rosters. James did not serve in the 1st Maryland infantry. However, a James H Butler and a James W Butler are listed in the roster of the 1st Maryland Eastern Shore (probably miss print of same name.) Is he H or W? Another James Butler is listed in the 1st Maryland Cavalry. I did get a match on the 13th Maryland.I will email a contact who might be interested in your papers. Thanks for contacting us.
