not allot. However, I checked on the NPS database of soldiers who served. Did he also serve in the 3rd MD inf? The name came up, but I couldn't verify it is the same guy. It is a good poosiblity, though. Maybe another avenue to search. For general info about the Maryland Cav you should find a copy of the book, "Marylanders in Blue, The Artillery and the Cavalry", Daniel Toomey, Toomey Press, Baltimore, 1999. Finally, have you applied for his Pension record from the National Archives in Washington DC? Allot of times it will include interesting things about his service.
