I would like to post a remembrance of our fallen NR comrade, Captain Brian Pohanka of the 5th NY. There was never a better soldier and champion of american history. As it was told to me by Pvt R Miller, May Lincoln invite him into the Grand Army of the Republic. I can't think of a more appropriate thing to say. I would also like to mention Albert Earp Jr, who died the following day, June 16th, 2005. He was a decendant of the 8th MD who wrote numerous books to honor the memory of the Marylanders in Blue. R.I.P.
